What stays on your device

The odontogram is drawn in the page, the callouts are built in the page and the grading runs in the page. There is no server side to this site: it is a set of static files. Nothing you chart or answer is transmitted to us.

Progress is written to your browser's own local storage, under keys beginning with chartcall. and nowhere else. That means it belongs to one browser on one device: it does not follow you to a phone, it is not backed up anywhere, and nobody else can read it. You can export it as a JSON file and import it again on another browser. Clearing site data for this site removes it permanently and immediately.

Because there is no account, there is also nothing to delete on our side and no way for us to restore anything you clear. That trade is deliberate. A charting drill does not need to know who you are.

The spoken callouts

Callouts are spoken by your own browser's speech engine. Most voices run on your device. Some browsers also offer online voices, and if you choose one of those your browser sends the callout text, a tooth number and a finding such as "number 3, MOD amalgam", to the browser maker's speech service. The voice picker marks online voices, and ChartCall picks an on device voice by default whenever one exists. The callout text never contains anything about you.

No patient data

Every case is invented for practice. There is nowhere to type a patient's name or details, and nothing you chart here is a clinical record. Do not use ChartCall to chart a real patient.

No accounts

There is no sign up, no sign in, no email capture and no password to lose. Every free page on this site is reachable without identifying yourself in any way.

What is collected

No account, no sign in, no advertising identifiers, and no analytics of what you answer. Standard web server logs kept by the static host may record the request for a page, its time, and a network address, in the ordinary way that any web server records a request.

Page counts

This site counts page visits through Cloudflare. The count sets no cookie, it cannot follow you from here to another site, and nothing you chart is part of it. It records that a page was opened, not how you answered.

Payments

If a paid plan is ever offered and you buy it, the payment is handled by RevenueCat and Stripe, and an anonymous purchase id is kept in this browser so ChartCall recognises your plan. ChartCall never sees your card.

Cookies

ChartCall sets no cookies of its own, and it carries no advertising or cross site tracking scripts. The Cloudflare page count described above is cookieless.

Children

The site is a study aid for students in dental programs and is not directed at children under 13.

Changes

If this policy changes in a way that affects what is collected, the change will appear on this page. There is no mailing list to notify, because there is no mailing list.
