# ChartCall > Hear a charting callout the way an operator dictates it, chart it on the odontogram, and see exactly what you missed. A free daily drill for dental assisting and dental hygiene students. ChartCall is a study aid, not a clinical record. Every case is invented for practice and no real patient data is used. ChartCall is not affiliated with any dental board, exam body, school or professional association. ## How it works The browser's speech engine speaks a charting callout such as "number 3, MOD amalgam" or "14 DO caries". The student charts it on an odontogram (tooth, surfaces, material or condition) and each part is graded separately, with the miss named. Numbering is Universal (1 to 32, A to T) with a switch to FDI. Browsers with no speech voices get the callouts as text. ## Content 60 invented cases with 363 findings: - Restorations: 14 cases, 80 findings - Conditions: 12 cases, 68 findings - Missing teeth and prosthetics: 12 cases, 76 findings - Primary dentition: 10 cases, 61 findings - Mixed cases: 12 cases, 78 findings Findings: Amalgam (Am), Composite (Comp), Glass ionomer (GI), Gold inlay or onlay (Au inlay), Temporary filling (Temp), Caries (Car), Recurrent caries (Rec car), Porcelain fused to metal crown (PFM), Full gold crown (FGC), All ceramic crown (Cer), Stainless steel crown (SSC), Missing (X), Extraction indicated (Ext), Root canal treatment (RCT), Implant (Imp), Sealant (S), Watch (W), Bridge pontic (Pontic), Pulpotomy (Pulp), Fractured tooth (Fx). ## Veterinary charts Canine (42 permanent, 28 deciduous teeth) and feline (30 permanent, 26 deciduous teeth) odontograms in modified Triadan numbering, quadrants 100 to 400 permanent and 500 to 800 deciduous. Callouts are phrased the way a veterinarian dictates during a COHAT ("one oh four, fractured, pulp exposed", "three oh nine, mobility two"). Each species has its own free daily drill and its own progress.
